I was having a bad day and so I stopped in here for a snack to pick myself up and it really worked. I got an horchata, beef empanada, chicken empanada, and a pastelillo with guava and cheese and everything was delicious and five stars. The horchata is so refreshing and good and both empanadas were great, but if I had to pick a favorite, I'd say chicken. The pastelillo was so wonderful and the guava cheese combo really is top tier. The service was also great - the woman behind the counter was so nice and warm and good vibes, and the whole experience was the highlight of my day. I'd definitely be back again to get all the things I ordered again and/or try their Cubano.

Flavorful and filling sandwiches! I got a sandwich for breakfast that ended up being my lunch as well. Service was fast, and it was made to order. The place wasn't crowded when I went. They had low salsa music playing. I will definitely go back!

Just as delicious as the original Lazo's, owned by the same wonderful family. The croquetas, sweet plantains and guacamole were exceptional. We missed Cuban food after moving here from Miami. This is the next best thing to Abuela's cooking.

Come here for the best egg samiches near the blue line train. Friendly nice staff and it's right across from Margie's candies. So many good places to eat around here.

This place opens until super late, so I wanted to try it out. I got the media noche and my boyfriend got the steak quesadillas. We also shared a guava and cheese puff pastry. The steak quesadillas were top tier, although at $15 I thought the price was a little steep. My media noche sandwich didn't look like the pictures I had seen. It wasn't grilled, but looked more pan seared? Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of the sandwich. It was almost mushy in texture and I was expecting a more crispy/hard bread. However, just because I'm not a fan of the sandwich doesn't mean this place deserves less than 5/5. Everything else was good and the service was very nice. I would come back just for the puff pastry. It was SO YUMMY! You also get free chips and dip with your order.

Wow. Lived in the area for two years and regretfully only just gave this place a try. There was a place called Lazo's across the street and they weren't very good and I affiliated the two, but this place is completely different. Steak sandwich was simple in the best way. Delicious. Great crunchy bread and good flavor. Their pork tacos though, my god. Incredible. The pork was spiced so well it was like an orange color. And yet, not over spiced. Spiced as well as Indian restaurants tend to do their chicken tikka. On top of that it was not greasy at all...and it was a generous taco! Then, with this quality of food, the prices were better than area average. I will be back again and again if this is the standard of food they put out.

The steak sandwiches here are off the chain!! When I am in a rush for something fast and tasty, I run here. Never had their tacos until now. The taco meat was well seasoned, tight, and tender. My rating is based on good food and satisfaction. About 3weeks ago I came during the morning to order an omelette sandwich and some coffee, and the place was closed for the day. However, the owners were kind enough to let me in. We chatted and he made me a couple sandwiches along with great coffee to go! Did I mention it was free of charge! Great people, good food, and fast service.
